Dark Skies Walk

Join us for a walk in Cwm Idwal National Nature Reserve and experience this stunning landscape at night.
We’ll be meeting up at the Cwm Idwal visitor centre in the evening before following the path around Llyn Idwal. We’ll stop now and again to learn about the night sky and the importance of darkness. A wonderful opportunity to experience Eryri differently and enjoy the tranquillity of the night.
What to expect?
- Walk starts at 5:00pm.
- 3 hour walk (4Km).
- Booking essential.
What to bring with you?
We recommend that you wear warm and waterproof clothing. We also ask that you wear appropriate waling footwear. If you have a torch please bring one, but we’ll also have enough to pass round if needed.
