Bee Recording Walk

August 14 @ 12:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Join us to help record bumblebees in Cwm Idwal.

Come along for a fun and educational walk as we explore the buzzing world of bees! Whether you’re a seasoned recorder or just curious about bumblebees, this is a great chance to learn, connect with nature, and contribute to vital conservation work.

What to expect?

  • Walk starts 9:30 am.
  • Walk last 3 hours (4Km).
  • A rough uneven path, wet in places.

We’ll meet up outside the Cwm Idwal visitor centre (LL57 3LZ) and then begin our walk at a gentle pace up to Cwm Idwal.

PLEASE NOTE: The walk is not suitable with dogs. The walk is free of charge.

What to bring?

We recommend wearing warm, waterproof clothing and appropriate footwear. Feel free to bring a snack and a drink with you, or you can buy something at the visitor centre.

Parking

The car park can fill up very quickly, so we advise you arrive in plenty of time. Alternatively there is a bus service (Traws Cymru T10) available from Bethesda and Capel Curig.
